What we collect, why, and what you can do about it

Last updated 10 August 2026Privacy PolicyTerms of Service
Paldeck is a free fan-made Palworld database. There are no accounts, no logins and no newsletters. We do not ask you for your name, address or payment details, and we never sell personal information. The data described below is the ordinary technical information any website receives, plus cookies set by our advertising and security providers.

1. Who we are

Paldeck operates the website at paldeck.cc. For anything in this policy you can reach us on our Discord server.

Paldeck is an independent fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Pocketpair, Inc.

2. Information we collect

We do not operate user accounts, so we hold no profiles. What is processed is:

  • Technical request data. Your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, and the pages you request. This is logged automatically by our hosting and by Cloudflare, which sits in front of the site.
  • Local storage and cookies. Small values stored in your browser to remember preferences such as map layer selections and filter settings. These stay on your device.
  • Advertising and analytics identifiers. Cookies and similar identifiers set by third parties described in sections 4 and 5.

We do not knowingly collect any special category data, and we do not ask you to submit personal information through forms.

3. How we use it

  • Serving the site and its images, maps and data files
  • Keeping the site available and protecting it from abuse, bots and denial of service attacks
  • Understanding aggregate traffic patterns so we know which pages are worth improving
  • Displaying advertising that helps cover hosting costs

4. Cookies and similar technologies

A cookie is a small file placed on your device. Paldeck itself uses only what is needed to remember your preferences. Our providers may set their own cookies:

  • Cloudflare sets security cookies to distinguish real visitors from automated traffic and to keep the site online. See the Cloudflare privacy policy.
  • Advertising partners set cookies to measure and, where permitted, personalise the ads you see.

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking them will not stop you using the database, though some preferences will no longer be remembered.

5. Advertising

Paldeck is supported by advertising. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, a consent banner will ask for your choices before non-essential cookies are set. You can change those choices at any time through the same banner.

6. Analytics

We use aggregate analytics to count page views and see which sections of the database are used. We are interested in totals, not individuals, and we do not attempt to identify any visitor or combine analytics data with anything else.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. California residents have the right to know what is collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

To exercise any of these, contact us on our Discord server. Because we hold no accounts, the data we can tie to you is limited to server logs, which is worth knowing before you ask.

9. Data retention

Server and security logs are kept only as long as needed for troubleshooting and abuse prevention, then discarded. Cookies expire according to the lifetimes set by whoever placed them, which you can inspect in your browser.

10. International transfers

Our hosting, CDN and advertising providers operate globally, so data may be processed outside your country, including in the United States. Those providers rely on their own safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, for these transfers.

11. Children

Paldeck is a general-audience gaming resource and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will remove it.

12. Links to other sites

The site links to external resources, including Discord, Ko-fi, Steam and game server hosting. Some outbound links are affiliate links, meaning we may receive a commission if you make a purchase, at no extra cost to you. Once you leave paldeck.cc, this policy no longer applies and the destination site's own policy takes over.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site changes or as advertising and legal requirements evolve. The date at the top reflects the current version. Continuing to use Paldeck after a change means you accept the updated policy.

14. Contact

Questions, requests and complaints can be raised on our Discord server. If you are in the EEA or UK and are unhappy with our response, you may complain to your local data protection authority.
